    It is estimated that two Barbie dolls are sold somewhere in the world every second of every day, which earns them roughly $1.5 billion dollars per year.

    The Matell Company has made roughly one billion different fashion outfits for Barbie and her friends.

    They have also made more than one billion pairs of shoes; that’d be a nightmare choosing which ones to wear!

    One question that made me laugh about Barbie is: “If Barbie’s so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?” And it’s a sensible question really.
